Bio: Born and raised in Ogden, Utah. Graduate of Ben Lomond High School (1973). Mission to Germany Hamburg and West Berlin (1975-1977). Married Kim Jensen Chadwick (1978). B.A. Weber State College (1978) in Political Science and German. M.A. BYU (1984) in International Relations/Near Eastern Studies. Ph.D. (1992) University of Utah Middle East Center in Archaeology and Semitic Languages. Also studied at Tel Aviv Univesity and Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Twenty years teaching for C.E.S. at Ogden Area Seminaries, at Logan LDS Institute (Utah State University) and at Ogden LDS Institute (Weber State University). Two years full time teaching at BYU Jerusalem Center (1992-1994), and eighteen years as summer-time instructor in Jerusalem (1982-2000), teaching Near Eastern Studies. Active field archaeologist in Israel, Tel Miqne (Ekron) Expedition (1990s) and Tel Safi (Gath) Expedition (2001 to present).
