Bio: Dr. W. J. Marsh has written curriculum materials for seminaries and institutes in the Church Educational System. He has also prepared Melchizedek Priesthood manuals and the current Gospel Doctrine courses of study. He and his wife Kathie have conducted Church History and Holy Land tours for BYU travel study. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and masters and doctorate degrees from BYU. He served a mission to Frankfurt, Germany, and has had the opportunity to serve as a Gospel Doctrine Instructor, Bishop, and on high councils. He and Kathie are the parents of six children.

Courses Taught: Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, New Testament, Book of Revelation, Doctrine and Covenants, the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, Doctrinal Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith.

Areas of Expertise: Doctrinal Teachings of Joseph Smith, Eyewitness accounts of LDS Church History sites and milestones, Pioneer Salt Lake City.

Areas of Research: History of the English Bible, the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, LDS Church History sites.
