Wesley Wright

Wes has been employed with Seminaries and Institutes of Religion since 1995 and is excited to be part of the BYU faculty as a Preservice Trainer. He thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to recruit, train and hire the most qualified seminary teachers for the rising generation. His roles in S&I have included Seminary Teacher/Principal, Institute Teacher/Director, and Area Director. Until 2018 when he came to BYU, Wes has spent his entire career in Arizona but is excited to return to his home state of Utah. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Behavior from BYU in Provo and a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Human Relations from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He & his wife served missions in Washington DC and they have 6 beautiful children and 11 amazing grandchildren. Being a “Gpa” is the best! Wes is a diehard fan of the BYU Cougars, Utah Jazz, and Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoys traveling, tennis, running, swimming, and anything with cherry or caramel in it!
