I was born and raised in Providence, Utah in the beautiful Cache Valley. After serving a mission in Brazil Curitiba, I returned home and completed my Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering. I married an Angel named Kiplin Crook and began teaching seminary in Brigham City, Utah. After six years in that assignment I moved to the Institute adjacent to Utah State University where I worked for the next seven years. One of my assignments there was working in the Seminary Preservice program (teaching and training potential seminary teachers) for four years. I also enjoyed the opportunity to develop an online home study seminary program. My masters and doctorate degrees are both in Instructional Technology. Kiplin and I have 10 children (5 boys and 5 girls). We have been here at BYU since August, 2010 and have loved our time here and the opportunity to work with so many incredible people.
