Biography

Aaron Schade is a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University and teaches courses on religion and ancient Near Eastern languages, history, and archaeology. Schade is the codirector of the Khirbat Ataruz Excavation in Ataruz, Jordan. He completed his graduate studies at the University of Toronto in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations and is a faculty member at the BYU Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies. His research interests and publications include ancient Northwest Semitic inscriptions, archaeology, and the Old Testament.
