Devan Jensen is the executive editor of the BYU Religious Studies Center, where he coordinates the office’s editing activities. Now in his twentieth year at the RSC, Devan has personally edited 250 books or book-length projects that have garnered many awards, including five from the Mormon History Association. He has mentored talented student editors and also manages a team that produces social media content for both the RSC and Religious Education. He has presented and published papers on Church history topics throughout the world and has served on many professional boards. In 2016 Devan received the BYU President’s Appreciation Award. As a National Merit Scholar, he received his MA and BA degrees in English from BYU. He and his wife, Patty, live in Orem, Utah, and have four children and an adorable granddaughter. He enjoys cycling, singing, and performing magic tricks. He is compiling a book on the Saints in Micronesia based on his research and two years of service in Guam and Pohnpei.
