Tadlee J. Welty's parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was a young boy in Manhattan Kansas. Later the family moved to California. Tadlee was deeply influenced by his parent's conversion and his own sincere study of the Book of Mormon. Tadlee served a mission to Culiacan Mexico and acquired his love of mangos and tacos de carne asada. Since 2002, Tadlee has been a part of religious education as a seminary or institute teacher, coordinator, and seminary principal. Tadlee graduated with his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University with University Honors in Marriage Family and Human Development. He also was awarded a Master of Science from Brigham Young University, and a Specialist in Education from the University of West Florida. Tadlee received his Doctor of Education specializing in instructional design and technology from the University of West Florida. Tadlee married Carrie in 1998 and they are the parents of 6 children. Their family has been fortunate to live in Washington, Florida, and recently Utah. Tadlee's interests include motorcycling, mountain and road biking, woodworking, and learning from others.
