Trudi Ward Hyer is proud to be a farm girl from Idaho, but after moving to Payson, Utah in 1994 she has fallen in love with this beautiful state. Trudi had been an administrative assistant for Seminaries and Institutes since 2007, working in several seminaries and with stake institute programs. She began working for the BYU Seminary Teacher Training (Preservice) office in 2019 and enjoys her associations with students and faculty in the JSB. As a young girl, Trudi remembers the family piling into the old station wagon and traveling to Provo to attend BYU basketball games. She comes from a long line of diehard BYU Cougar fans!
Trudi enjoys cooking, traveling, digital scrapbooking, family history, playing games, watching movies, hiking, and sports. She has been a dedicated ‘soccer mom’ for 20 years and is just beginning to settle into her new title as ‘soccer grandma’. She loves spending time with her husband, Matt, their 7 children and 3 grandchildren.
